Overview
D.Pharmacy, which stands for Diploma in Pharmacy, is a two-year diploma program aimed at equipping students with comprehensive knowledge and skillsrelated to pharmaceutical science and the practices within the pharmacy field. The curriculum of this course encompasses a wide range of pharmacy-related topics, including pharmaceutics, pharmacology, pharmaceutical chemistry, clinical pharmacy, and hospital pharmacy.
The D.Pharmacy program has been meticulously crafted to ensure that students gain a deep understanding of drug formulation and development, as well asproficiency in various aspects of dispensing medication and managing pharmacy operations. Moreover, students are instructed in the utilization ofpharmaceutical equipment and the proper handling of pharmaceuticals.
The program is structured into four semesters, with an additional requirement for students to complete a total of 500 hours of practical training inconjunction with their theoretical coursework. This practical training exposes students to diverse aspects of pharmacy practices, covering areas such asdrug formulation, quality control, and offering counseling to patients.
