PHARMACEUTICS LAB
Pharmaceutics is a branch of pharmacy that focuses on the entire process of transforming a new chemical entity (NCE) into a medication that is safe and effective for patient use. It involves the formulation of pure drug substances into appropriate dosage forms. This field also explores the relationship between drug formulation, delivery, distribution, and the clinical response in patients.

PHARMACOGNOSY LAB
Our Pharmaceutical Botany Lab focuses on the extraction, isolation, purification, and identification of active chemical constituents from medicinal plants. Plant materials have long been used as home remedies and over-the-counter drug products, and today, many plant-derived compounds serve as models for synthetic drugs. The lab is equipped with modern equipment such as Soxhlet extractors, compound microscopes, rotary evaporators, IR moisture balance, laminar air flow benches, and more, ensuring a comprehensive learning experience. Additionally, the lab houses a valuable collection of crude drugs and herbariums for study. By the end of the course, students gain the expertise to interpret the morphological and anatomical properties of crude drugs and screen plants for potential drug discovery, preparing them for success in the field of pharmaceutical research and development.
MICROBIOLOGY LAB
The Pharmaceutical Chemistry Laboratory is a key component of our institute, providing state-of-the-art facilities for students pursuing a Bachelor of Pharmacy course. In this lab, students gain hands-on experience in the synthesis of pharmaceutical compounds, their recrystallization (purification), identification, and analysis, equipping them with essential skills for a successful career in the pharmaceutical industry.
The Microbiology Laboratory is another integral part of our curriculum, focusing on the study of microorganisms, including bacteria, yeasts, molds, and viruses. As one of the fastest-growing fields in science, microbiology is critical to the understanding of various health-related issues. Our air-conditioned lab is well-equipped with modern instruments such as laminar air flow, incubators, autoclaves, and hot air ovens, ensuring a safe and effective learning environment.
Additionally, our Pharmaceutics lab plays a vital role in educating students about the process of transforming new chemical entities (NCEs) into safe and effective medications for patient use. This branch of pharmacy explores the formulation of pure drug substances into dosage forms, studying the relationship between drug formulation, delivery, distribution, and clinical response.
With cutting-edge equipment like HPLC, UV spectrophotometers, and polarimeters, our labs provide students with the tools and knowledge required to excel in the dynamic fields of pharmaceutical chemistry, microbiology, and pharmaceutics.
